Chakrata is a small scenic hill station in the state of Uttarakhand. It is an awesome offbeat destination if you are looking for a short trip of 2-3 days. Situated at around 2,118 m above sea level Chakrata is blessed with picturesque natural beauty and panoramic views. Away from the crowd, it is a great place to enjoy waterfalls, view of the snow-covered Himalayas and beautiful shades of sunrise and sunset.
If you are looking for a big shopping market or a lot of tourist activities then this is not a place for you. Visit Chakrata only if you want to relish the beauty of nature.

Carry garbage bags with you where you can put your wastes and later dump them in a dustbin
Do not play loud music while you drive or during the trek. It disturbs the peace of the people and animals there
